So You Want To Be A Team Filsell Motorsport Driver?

Team Filsell Motorsport looks after its drivers like only we know how. Below is an example of what you can expect as a Team Filsell Motorsport Formula BMW driver:

Test Days - 23 | Private Test days - Four | Official Test Days - Six | Mid-Season Test Days - Three | Pre-Race Test Days - Ten

Registration Fees Includes registration for Official Test days and 20 races. Driver receives: BMW Hospitality passes; two Official BMW race suits; umbrella; Team Filsell Motorsport & BMW jackets, shirts, t-shirts and cap.

Race-Winning Formula BMW Fully prepared Formula BMW, 2007 specification. Full winter re-build prior to pre-season testing. Budget includes all running costs - fuel, brakes, and consumables.

Tyres Maximum amount of new slicks as allowed by the regulations: one set for each pre-season official test; one set for each pre-race test and 1.5 sets for each Race Meeting. Wet tyres also included.

Engines Up to four.

Insurance Covers up to £15,000 of damage; driver is responsible for the excess of £1,500 or accident damage below this sum. These figures can vary and cannot yet be confirmed, but these figures are typical.

Engineer Respected and experienced engineer.

Mechanic Allocated, dedicated full-time mechanic.

Data Engineer Respected and experienced data engineer.

Driver Coaching Matt Howson - 2005/6 race winner, plus pole positions, podiums and fastest laps. Awarded "Frank Williams Trophy" for Sportsman of the Year.

PR & Media Dedicated PR, media and website personnel present at every race meeting.

Hospitality Complete Hospitality provided by Team Filsell Motorsport and BMW.

Transport & Accommodation Transport to and from race venues is provided from Silverstone, or on-route; all accommodation requirements arranged.
